In 1909-1910, the existing single-story building was reconstructed according to the design by F. Pekutovskiy. The building became a two-story structure with a brick style and elements of early modernism.

Currently, the facade of the first floor has lost its authenticity, and the windows of the later second floor are more decoratively designed. Above the main facade of the building, above the cornice on the central axis, there was a rectangular attic with a triangular pediment. The attic had the inscription "Grand Hotel Rooms."

After the reconstruction, it was decided to use the building as a hotel. In 1912, the Oleksandrivsk City Duma opened a tavern in the building. In 1918, a public organization, the Safety Committee, was located here.

In 1929, the building was transferred to the housing fund.
