Kyiv Academic Youth Theater on Lypky

The Kyiv Academic Theater for Young Spectators on Lypki (Kyiv Theater for Young Spectators, Kyiv TYS) is an academic theater for young spectators in Kyiv, the oldest and traditionally the main theater stage of the city for children’s audiences. The theater has a modern building with two stages of 408 and 80 seats. A special feature of the theater is that it satisfies the artistic needs not only of the younger generation, but also of all categories of viewers.
The repertoire includes over 30 plays based on works by classic and contemporary authors. The Youth Theater has repeatedly won the theatrical prize "Kyiv Pectoral" and won international festivals. The theater actively tours and conducts charitable actions and festivals, remaining an important cultural center of Kyiv.
