«Tarasova pear»

"The Taras Tree" is a tree with its own ancient and interesting history. It is over 200 years old.

To find this natural monument, you can descend from the Festyvalʹna Square to the embankment of the highway.

It is said that Taras Shevchenko himself spent the night under this pear tree when he was passing through our region in 1843. At that time, it grew in the yard of Prokop Bulat, a resident of the village of Voznesenka, where the poet stayed for a few days. Shevchenko also visited Khortytsya and the city of Oleksandrivs'k.
