Literary and Memorial Museum-Apartment of P. Tychyna in Kyiv, founded in 1979, is a unique institution dedicated to the life and work of the famous Ukrainian poet, linguist, and literary critic Pavlo Tychyna. The museum is located in the poet's memorial apartment at 5 Tereshchenkivska Street.
The museum's exhibition features five rooms displaying items associated with Tychyna, including his books, musical instruments, artworks, and family photographs.One of the most interesting exhibits is the clarinet, an instrument that the poet played when he was studying. An important role in the museum is taken up by the poet's drawings, including a self-portrait, as well as works of folk decorative and fine arts that adorn the interiors. The museum is a significant cultural center, where evenings in memory of P. Tychyna are traditionally held.
