Mamayeva Sloboda is a unique open-air museum that recreates the atmosphere of 18th-century Ukrainian Cossack life. It features an architectural ensemble with over 90 objects, including the wooden Church of the Intercession of the Holy Virgin, reminiscent of the iconic structures from the Zaporizhian Sich era. The museum immerses visitors in the culture and daily life of the Cossacks, showcasing crafts, traditions, rituals, and symbols of the Cossack age. The vast complex includes homesteads, a smithy, a pottery workshop, a watermill, and more, offering an authentic experience of stepping back in time.
