The Museum of the Soviet Occupation of Ukraine in Kyiv describes the tragic period of 1917-1991, highlighting the crimes of the communist regime. Its expositions aim to reveal the historical myths of the totalitarian past and uncover little-known pages of Ukrainian history. The core of the museum is the exhibition "Forgettable", created in 2001, which chronicles the communist Inquisition.
The museum presents documents, photographs, eyewitness testimonies, videos, and audio materials. There are also exhibitions, such as "Kyiv Martyrologist", "Ukrainian Solovki", and "Language Exposition". It hosts educational events, lectures, and film screenings to inform and educate young people.
