The Railway Transport Museum, opened in 2011, is a unique destination for enthusiasts of railway history and technology. The museum is located on the 14th platform of the Southern Railway Station.The museum's exhibits consist of historical rolling stock, including locomotives and wagons, which are categorized into three time periods: pre-20th century, Soviet era, and the period of independent Ukraine. Among the displays, visitors can find three steam locomotives, freight wagons, handcars, and more. Notably, visitors have the opportunity to sit at the table where the agreement for the unification of the Ukrainian People's Republic and the Western Ukrainian People's Republic was signed. The museum offers an excellent opportunity to engage with history, admire technical masterpieces, and learn about important events in the history of Ukraine and the world through the lens of railway technology.
