National Museum of Medicine of Ukraine

The National Museum of Medicine of Ukraine tells the story of the development of medicine in Ukraine from the earliest times to the present day. The building, built in the late classical style, is an architectural monument of the 19th century. The museum has collected numerous exhibits: photos, books, anatomical preparations, medical instruments, personal belongings of prominent doctors, and much more. The museum's highlights include original interiors, portrait figures of doctors, dioramas depicting essential moments in the history of medicine, and works of art on medical topics. The museum is actively involved in publishing and exhibition activities and is a member of the European Association of Museums of the History of Medical Sciences.
