The Paleontological Museum, named after V.O. Topachevsky, has been collecting paleontological materials since 1919 and serves a significant scientific center. It houses more than 2000 original exhibits, primarily from Ukraine. The museum's collection showcases the development of life on Earth, featuring fossilized remains of ancient animals, plants, and invertebrate prints. Notably, it includes unique exhibits, such as Cro-Magnon buildings built from mammoth bones. Additionaly, the museum possesses a stock collection of about one million specimens and special artistic dioramas that recreate historical stages of nature's development.
