The Defenders of Ukraine Park

The Defenders of Ukraine Park is located in the Solomianskyi district. Its area is over 5 hectares. This memorial park originated on October 14, 2016, when, at the initiative of ATO veterans, a solemn ceremony was held to lay a symbolic casing of a 125-millimeter shell. In the park, visitors can see deciduous trees such as maples, lindens, birches, poplars, and chestnuts. There are also pedestrian paths, flower beds, and about a hundred spruces and willows planted here. A living fence about 850 meters long, formed by densely planted young hornbeams, looks impressive. A monument to internationalist soldiers is located on the park's territory.
