The Pedagogical Museum in Kyiv is a unique institution that tells the history of education and upbringing in Ukraine from ancient times to the present. Founded in 1901, the museum is one of the few in the world that preserves the heritage of pedagogical science. Its collection features more than 45,000 exhibits, including ancient textbooks, rare documents, photographs, and pedagogical manuals. The museum contains materials about repressed teachers as well as collections covering the educational process in Ukraine, including the fraternal schools and the Kyiv-Mohyla Academy. Its holdings include important monuments such as the "Lithuanian Statute" (1570) and the "Gospel of Teachers" (1670), as well as many other historical artifacts illustrating the development of education in Ukraine.
