"Pokol" tract

0 19 0

The "Pokol" tract is situated in the Holosiivskyi district and spans over 49 hectares. It's located near Lysa Hora and Korchuvate, and encompasses the Halerny Peninsula and surrounding areas. Visitors can discover unique sections of floodplain forests, plants listed in the Red Book of Ukraine, dozens of species of waterfowl, as well as beavers and over 20 types of fish. The tract attracts residents and guests of the capital with its waterfall, which is part of an energy industry facility. The waterfall is most impressive during water discharge, in spring and early summer, when it is full. There's also a nearby pond where visitors can fish.
