The Transfiguration Cathedral in Kyiv is a stunning temple that was constructed thanks to charitable donations. The architectural design was created by Vadym Zhezherin, while the artistic design and mosaics were crafted by Yuriy Levchenko. The cathedral is part of the Orthodox Church of Ukraine and operates as a stauropegial community, meaning it is directly subordinate to the Primate of the Church, Metropolitan Epiphanius. The church stands 41.5 meters tall, and its golden dome is a prominent landmark. Inside, the cathedral features mosaics, the most extensive collection in Kyiv.
