Holy Dormition Church

The Holy Dormition Church of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church-Kyivan Patriarchate (UOC-KP), constructed between 2009 and 2010, stands in the Rusankivski Sady within Kyiv's Dnipro district. This church was conceived as a powerful symbol of the enduring nature of this designated protected area. The genesis of the temple dates back to August 25, 2007, when its cornerstone was laid. A memorable event in its construction was the consecration of the cross adorning the dome of the new edifice, which took place on St. Nicholas Day. Divine services are conducted regularly at this church.
