Central House of Officers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine

The Central House of Officers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine is a monument of local architectural significance, designed in the Neo-Empire style. This impressive building was constructed between 1914 and 1918 by architects V. H. Krychevskyi and V. P. Peshchanskyi. With its massive columns, grand staircases, and large windows, the structure has always captured the attention of passersby. Since 1995, it has housed the Central Museum of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. In 2006, the building was added to the State Register of Immovable Monuments of Ukraine as a monument of local architectural significance. Today, the House of Officers serves as a vibrant cultural center, hosting a wide array of activities, including theatrical performances, military band concerts, contemporary art exhibitions, creative evenings, book presentations, children's workshops, patriotic forums, and meetings with veterans. The venue places special emphasis on events for the children of military personnel, offering various clubs, workshops, and holiday programs. Each year, over 200 diverse cultural events take place at this remarkable location.
