"Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute"

The National Technical University of Ukraine "Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute" was founded on November 25, 1886. The university campus features monuments dedicated to its distinguished graduates, including renowned aircraft designers Igor Sikorsky and Serhiy Korolyov, as well as other notable scientists. KPI is one of the largest educational institutions in Europe, with its buildings, institutes, faculties, and dormitories spread across an area of approximately 120 hectares. KPI boasts a Center for Culture and Arts, a modern sports complex, a polyclinic, and four sports and recreation centers. Its scientific and technical library is considered one of the best in the country. The university's scientific developments receive annual recognition, being awarded the State Prizes of Ukraine in the fields of science and technology. Additionally, the State Polytechnic Museum at KPI, named after Igor Sikorsky, is one of the largest technology museums in Ukraine and the biggest university museum in the country. KPI is not just a higher education institution; it serves as a genuine scientific center that consistently ranks among the top Ukrainian universities.
